Free online Full Episodes, But not what you want! or need!

August 27, 2009 at 7:01 pm , by TeVeGuy

Many of us by now know how to find the shows we missed online. For those of us who can’t wait for comcast to update the On Demand channels or TV network websites fast enough we survive. There’s this thin boundary though. What if you want to watch say for example “RUSH” which airs in Australia. What is your option. Well Hulu doesn’t have it Fancast doesn’t have it. So the logical first place you should look for it is at the networks site that airs it. Most “Smart” networks have their shows on their sites for free, and generate revenue for the commercials they air during the episode. So again for example “Rush”. I went to http://ten.com.au/ , and I learned that only people in their country can watch the episode. So than I asked myself no wonder people LOVE & USE Bittorent & IRC. Entertainment is so limited & censored. The fact should be don’t you want people to love your show outside your country? Wouldn’t you like an American network to pick it up & sell our region DVD’s? It’s really pathetic how people market TV shows. If it’s all about money than listen to me. Take for example “Merlin”. I watched that show before it was even picked up here in the USA. Same can be said for “HEX”, and “Primeval”. It just fascinates me shows get canceled on any network any country, and no one Channel does anything to save it. Just because it’s not the best in your country doesn’t mean it won’t fail in another.

“True Blood” News All Around

August 11, 2009 at 8:01 pm , by TeVeGuy

80665496First of all HBO has picked up the show for a third season. Second is that our main two characters are now officially engaged. Stephen Moyer, and Anna Paquin kept their realationship a secret for awhile. I might have not posted this, but they have been together for awhile now which makes for real genuine scenes between the two. Also many of you may or may not the show came from a book series (sounds familer) called the “Sookie Stackhouse Novels” for short. If you like the show go here  http://www.amazon.com/Sookie-Stackhouse-8-copy-Boxed-Blood/dp/0441018238/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpi_1 , and buy the 8 book box set.

ABC’s “Modern Family” Review

August 7, 2009 at 9:49 pm , by TeVeGuy

modernWatching the pilot episode it has that funny familiar feel.  At first glance it seems a combination of Arrested Development, John & Kate Plus 8, & Real housewives of what ever city they are airing now. It’s like your thrown into a reality show, but with better cameras. This show is so different in a good way that I really can’t compare it to anything. The best way to describe it seriously is Desperate Housewives meets Arrested Development . I don’t know what to do more laugh, or wonder what’s coming next. The Casting for this show is just right. Everyone seems to play their parts well. Don’t forget Most pilots set the story, and introduce characters for the season. The pilot episode has a way of NOT boring you with the familiar. Most IMPORTNANT is Ed O’Neil is in this show. For those of you who don’t know who Ed O’Neil  is go buy a “Married With Children” DVD and learn how comedy started on TV. Granted hes older now, but just as funny if not more. For this type of show the kids/young adults are very good actors/actresses. You really think your watching a very disturbed family which in most cases is “Modern” because it is the norm for most of us viewers. Later on in the pilot you understand the connection between what you have seen so don’t give up on it so fast. In my experience don’t be quick to judge especially on a pilot episode. My final thoughts are give the show a try. I’ll definitely be watching it this season, and crossing my fingers it gets picked up for another season. ” Modern Family” will premiere on ABC on September 23rd 9/8 c.

Also a Special Thanks goes out to ABC for letting TeVesBest.com review the screener. Belive it or not Networks do try to promote the shows they air, and it is up to us the viewers to watch, and buy DVD’s that can make or break a show.

Pitchman Billy Mays Autopsy Results

August 7, 2009 at 4:18 pm , by TeVeGuy

According to the Hillsborough County medical examiner cocaine contributed to his death. Initial autopsy results did not turn up evidence of drug abuse, but toxicology tests uncovered the coke in his system. Mays did die from a heart attack, but the coke probably didn’t help the hyper Mays we all know, and love. Don’t forget the show “Pitchmen” is coming back for another season to pay tribute to the outspoken Billy Mays as I previously posted.

Whos Sick of the “Americal Idol” News?

August 6, 2009 at 3:24 pm , by TeVeGuy

I guess I’m a hypocrite for posting about it too considering my post title. The show can’t keep going on forever regardless of ratings. It was funny for the first couple seasons to watch the auditions, but now it’s just sad, and over done. I’m also sick of the Paula news. Stories about her drunk during interviews or on pills during the show. Than the news of her leaving the show I just don’t care. Now to build up more hype for the new season of Idol will have guest star judges like they did in the past. Some of the names include Katy Perry, and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham. Sorry that’s not a reason for me to tune in. Honestly how long do you think this show & interest will still last?

Showtimes “Californication” Season 3 Trailer

August 1, 2009 at 12:34 pm , by TeVeGuy

For those who have never seen this show you don’t know what your missing. The funny fact is no one has really talked about the fact that David Duchovny had a sex addiction went to rehab, but yet stars in a show that is mainly him having sex with people. Ironic as it is his rehab was in my opinion just for a reason to please his wife & Family. Yet watching the past two seasons of this show I’m glad hes back. All personal things with him put aside the show is so God Dam entertaining. I’m so looking forward to the new season.

True Blood Reflections

July 27, 2009 at 11:06 am , by TeVeGuy

After just getting back from a well deserved vacation, and catching up on my shows I wanted to open up to get some opinions. Sundays True Blood episode was one of the better because it leaves you with so many open stories similar to FOX’s “24″. Just when you think you know whats going on you do, and you don’t. Shape shifters, vampires weird lady that vibrates like a bad acid trip. The fact you don’t know what’s going on with this show keeps me in. The question is how much paranormal can they throw into the story before people start to say it’s been done. So far the writers are very good about keeping things a secret. Please feel free to comment on what you think is going on with this show. The video attached is the Comic Con HBO Trailer of what’s to come for the 2nd season.

Discovery Channels “The Colony” Review

July 22, 2009 at 10:53 am , by TeVeGuy

the-colony-group250I have to admit the Discovery channel doesn’t cease to amaze me with their new shows. The show starts out with giving the group a shock to the system that would simulate the aftermath of a disaster. Imagine being drained emotionally, and physically for 30 hours with no sleep or food. Than you join a group of others like you except for their expertise in their real like fields. Next the group gets to salvage an abandoned store for supplies for 15 min, and then make their way to a sanctuary. Over the weeks to come the group will have to endure real life post apocalyptic situations. They will have to deal with savage gangs, and limited supplies. Over all the idea, and premise of the show is great. A lot  people can learn from this show on how to survive God forbid anything bad would happen to the world. The show airs every Tuesday at 10 E/P.
