Gene Simmon’s new reality show called “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” aired for the first time. There was a 2 hour premiere of this new reality show. The show airs on A&E if anyone wants to know. I guess if you have nothing better to watch its ok. Its interesting to see how he raises his kids and treats his wife. It is humorous at times and its only worth watching if you have nothing better else to watch. I’m sick of reality shows with no meaning or purpose to it. Does anyone know what the longest reality show is? Its FOX’s “Cops” which has had more seasons than you can think of. Cops is a show you don’t mind watching reruns of. Now a days reality shows don’t cut it. I love FOX’s “Hell’s Kitchen”, and I Loved MTV’s “Viva La Bam”, but nothing else anymore seems to be the real in reality. I have a list of shows I like that were reality shows and a list that I don’t like, but neither are worth the room on this page to acknowledge.

I have gave two reviews of 2 new shows. CBS’s “Jericho” and NBC’s “Heroes”. Do to over whelming demand I’m reposting the links to my reviews. It’s amazing how many people are searching for these shows, and I hope they bring in the ratings. If you love a show you have to watch and you have to buy the DVD’s. You need to send emails and spend money to keep your shows alive. Last year I picked some great shows ,and they finished their seasons but didn’t get a second season. Like I have said before networks are greedy with ratings what is good for one network might not be good for another. All you TV fans have been searching on google non stop about these 2 new shows, and I have to say its worth the wait. If you love a plot on any network commit to it watch it record it buy the DVD so the networks know that its a good show. In the past we have lost to many good shows cause of no support. I will keep you all posted on any change during these shows airings. If you like a show watch it love it buy it than you keep it alive. Lets not let out favorite shows go down cause of downloading or no time. I admit I download but I watch and BUY the DVD’s. Can you say the same about yourself. How much do you support your shows. These are two great shows in my opinion but they wont do well without ratings so please watch please send emails and please buy the DVD’s.

FOX’s “The Simpsons” season 18 returns september the 10th. FOX’s “Bones” season 2 returns August the 30th. FOX’s “House” season 3 returns September the 5th. FOX’s “Prison Break” season 2 returns August the 21st. ABC’s “Lost” returns October the 4th. As I said in a previous post Showtime’s “Weeds” returns August the 14th. The CW’s “Supernatural” returns September the 28th. As I have posted before Sci-Fi’s “Stargate Atlantis” season 3, Comedy Central’s “Reno 911″ season 4, and “The 4400″ season 3 have all started their new seasons. And don’t forget to check out the new shows coming out this season which 2 I have already posted my reviews on.

Season 2 of Showtime’s “Weeds” starts back up on August the 14th. The show has done well for the network and will in my opinion continue to bring in the ratings. Its a bad comparison, but the show is like desperate housewives with weed. The show is about a single mother with kids who’s husband has died. She does everything she can to make a living which has turned to selling weed. She sells weed to the town, but doesn’t smoke herself. Its an interesting look at the way things can be in the suburban life. If you haven’t seen the show go out and buy season 1 now its worth the spare change in your wallet or purse. The show is worth watching and it keeps throwing surprises at you.

The UK gets DVD’s before we do in most cases of our American shows. You can use my search field to see others that I have posted before. I have already posted one for FOX’s “Family Guy” that is still not out in the US which is a X-mas DVD. This is their DVD art of season 2 volume 1-5 for Sci-Fi’s “Stargate Atlantis”. They tend to have volumes of DVD’s for seasons of their shows.

After just 6 episodes airing on ABC, “Kyle XY” has been picked up for another season. The show airs on Mondays, but gets even more ratings with its reruns on Fridays. Paul Lee president of ABC Family said,”Kyle’ has thrilled us from its premiere night — we couldn’t be happier to bring it back for a second season.” I’m glad that the show is living on for another season at least. This show is similar to FOX’s canceled show “John Doe”, but unlike that show Kyle knows nothing except for math. They can go in many directions with this show, and that is why it was one of EJ’s Picks for the season. You can do a search on my site for EJ’s Picks for other shows I have picked to do good this fall season. I even posted reviews of the pilots that I have watched. So far my picks are off to a great start.

Season one of CBS’s “Ghost Whisperer” DVD’s date has been changed to October 31st. There is no explanation as to why, but it is a good day for that show to come out on DVD. “Fraggle Rock” Season 2 will be out September the 5th. Today if you bought Volume 3 of “Bevis and Butthead Volume 3″ at Target you would get an exclusive bonus DVD.
