Lost and 24 are making history by what they do. Take “24″ for example. “24″ is the only show that I know of that has a non stop season without breaks or hiatuses. Also only show I know that aired commercial free for a couple years. “Lost is making history by having the largest cast for a TV drama. Is it just me or is TV getting better and better.

From the fan base of FOX’s canceled show “Firefly” we got a movie out if it. Plus ratings on the reruns on the SCI-FI channel are great. Now finally there are rumors and talks about a second season. You can check out the article about it here. http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.php?category=1&id=34383

CBS has ordered two new drama pilots. Even though I hate them for canceling “Threshold” one of the new shows seems to be good. The first new show is called “Ultra”, based on the comic book series of the same name. “Ultra” is a fast-paced action-adventure about a single city-girl superhero balancing the demands of greatness with her love life and social calendar. Joan of Arcadia creator Barbara Hall wrote the script. The next one which I think I will like is called “The Way” which is a supernatural thriller. The Way centers on a powerful New England mob clan that uses witchcraft to further its business enterprises and conquer enemies.

NBC’s new show “The book of Daniel” has failed. After only three weeks the network has decided to pull it off the air two weeks before its scheduled conclusion. Its premiere got 9 million viewers, but dropped each week after that. The declining ratings and controversial subject matter led to decreased advertising as well. In my opinion it was an ok show. It could and should of done better. Poor planning on the networks part is what I think caused it too fail. But this show was just starting so its not that big of a loss for me. Its shows that leave you hanging that get canceled that piss me off.

Following in the footsteps of successful DVD sales FOX has decided to give the ok to making 4 direct to DVD films of “Futurama”. They won’t start recording until the end of July or August. They will be full feature length movies. Everyone that worked on the show is excited on getting back together. I will post more news about this project when I get it.

Awhile back I told you all about two cast members on ABC’s “Lost” that got DUI’s. Here’s their pictures taken when they were drunk. At least seven actors on the show have had traffic problems. These pictures are from www.thesmokinggun.com. Like I said I give all news and info on all things TV. Posting these pictures by no way means that they are bad people or that the show is bad. The show is amazing and has one of the largest casts. I love the show, but I’m all about giving it to you strait. Anything TV related I will post. These two are great actresses, and deserve to celebrate with a couple drinks.

Season one and two will be out in stores on May 2nd. If you haven’t seen this show something is wrong with you. This show was a part of TV history. Jim Henson was a genius. So I recommend this DVD set for everyone of any age.

Volume one of this great cartoon that is following in the footsteps of “Family Guy” comes out April 25th. This will be a three disc set with many many bonus features such as deleted scenes. Remember Family Guy got another season cause of their DVD sales, and supporting the shows you love by buying the DVD’s, you are telling the networks what you want to stay on the air.
