Geeks and beauty’s return to the WB

Tuesday, December 6th, 2005

The long awaited Second season of “Beauty and the Geek” will premiere Thursday January the 12th. It will run for 8 weeks. The WB Entertainment president David Janollari says. “Viewers will love this cast from the moment they see them, and having a show like this will also allow us to rest ‘Everwood’ so it can finish the season with a long stretch of original episodes.” The first season of “Beauty and the Geek” was a hit for The WB over the summer, averaging close to 4 million viewers each week. I just hope they found another geek that tops Richards antics.

Lost characters in the news again

Friday, December 2nd, 2005

Two of the new cast members for season 2 of “Lost” were arrested for DUI. It was 2 separate incidents within minutes of each other. Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros, who joined the cast of the show this season, were arrested shortly after midnight Thursday (Dec. 1) in Hawaii. Each posted $500 bond and were released, according to local news reports. Representatives for the show and the two actresses had no comment. It’s unclear whether Rodriguez and Watros had been in the same place before getting in their cars. They are scheduled to appear in court on the charges on Dec. 29. Rodriguez, 27, has faced vehicular charges in the past: She pleaded no contest last year to misdemeanor charges of hit-and-run, DUI and driving with a suspended license, stemming from two cases in Los Angeles in 2003. In my opinion they were celebrating too early for joining a hit drama TV show. But who am I to Judge.
