News on Returning Fall shows

Saturday, July 30th, 2005

Jeri Ryan (Boston Public) is going to be in the third season of The O.C. She will be in seven episodes playing a mysterious woman Kristen Cohen (Kelly Rowan) befriends in rehab.
As you may or may not know most of all the episode names for That 70′s show are named after classic rock bands. Well in season eight a lot will be named after Queen songs.
everyone’s favorite drama and mine “24″ will be returning for yet another season if you don’t know. The character Tony Almeida will be back again for this new season also, but no word on other characters. Although there’s no word yet on what the plot of the new season of 24 will be, the producers recently hinted that there might be a 24 movie in the works. Season five of 24 explodes onto Fox this January.
The hit new show on NBC, Medium returns for a second season sometime in January 2006.
The hit new show on ABC, Lost returns for it second season right where it left off on Wednesday September 21st 2005.
I will be posting more in-depth looks into returning fall shows when the information gets leaked out into my hands.

E.j.’s Fall New Series Picks

Monday, July 25th, 2005

With all the popularity of supernatural dramas like “Medium”(NBC) and “Lost”(ABC) , Most networks are trying to make more shows to attract the fans of those type of shows. The only network that doesn’t do good with supernatural dramas is fox with shows like “Tru calling” and “Point Pleasant”. They were good shows but no ratings. The other networks can get more people to watch these new supernatural dramas. So this fall get ready for jam packed supernatural shows begging you for the ratings. These six shows I have already seen and posted my reviews on most, but they are all worth watching no matter what network airs them.

Supernatural – WB – Tuesday September 13th
Invasion – ABC – Wednesday – September 1st
Night Stalker – ABC – Thursday September 29th
Ghost Whisperer – CBS – Friday September 23rd
Threshold – CBS – Friday September 2nd
Fathom – NBC – Monday (not sure on date yet but I assume sometime in sept.)

Tv news update

Wednesday, July 20th, 2005

The second season of “House” will start September 13th on fox. One of the patients in the second season will be none other than LL cool J. He will be playing a death row inmate. I can’t wait to see what happens. And the reruns fox has been showing this summer are doing good in ratings too.
Even though the fox show “Wonderfalls” was canceled it will start airing on the Logo network. The show was canceled without showing the remaining nine episodes. But you can always buy the DVD to see them. Also the future of the new fox drama “The Inside” is up for grabs. The talk is the network might not want to order any new episodes to be made. I mean its not the best show, but its good to watch. And as I have said before which I will say again. The Sci-fi network is also picking up a canceled fox show called “Firefly” which has a huge cult following. Especially with the shows movie about to come out. Canceled shows seem to always do better on other networks. But no news if Sci-fi will order a second season to be made. But if it does as well as I think it will I can look forward to that.

NightStalker (ABC, Fall) Review

Tuesday, July 19th, 2005

Nightstalker is a new supernatural drama coming this fall on ABC. The shows main character name is Carl. Carl works for this Los Angles newspaper as a reporter. But the cases he likes to report on are the ones people wouldn’t believe in. He has a deep knowledge about the paranormal activities going on around us. And he knows the people that want to keep it silent. Its like that x-files feeling. This show will be a lot of competition with this falls WB show Supernatural. I will be watching both. I don’t think nightstalker will hold back on the gruesome stories. I hope you all tune in to see what happens.

Supernatural (WB, fall) Review

Tuesday, July 19th, 2005

Supernatural will be on the Wb this fall. It is about two brothers that hunt down ghosts and evil things, because of what happened to their mother when they were children. Their dad made it a mission to find what killed their mother and the two brothers were trained to hunt down evil things. One brother stayed along side his dad to hunt, and the other one wanted a normal life. Well when something happened to their dad they both team up again and start down that same path they never finished. Basically both of them are seeking out to destroy evil. I definitely think this show will do good on the network that will be airing it. It will be good competition with Nightstalker which also airs this fall on another network..

Invasion (ABC,Fall) Review

Thursday, July 14th, 2005

With all the drama of Lost comes this new show on ABC called INVASION. In the mist of all the Hurricanes Florida has had over the past two years this show starts out with one. But the storm is a cover for what happens. Just when you think you know every alien story you could think of you wouldn’t expect what this show will do with an alien story. The pilot episode sets of the characters and their relationship with each other. And you get an idea of what is to come in the coming episodes. After watching it I really hope they get picked up for another season. The only thing we don’t know is what is the aliens agenda. The show keeps you guessing second after second. If I’m correct I think this show will do just as good as lost or even better. But make sure you all tune in on Sept. 1st if I’m correct.. Its a must see Pilot. TRUST ME………………

Point Pleasant DVD announced

Thursday, July 14th, 2005

The Point Pleasant DVD will be out on October 25th. Another great show canned by the wonderful minds at fox. Its funny all their canceled shows have such a huge cult following. And the shows always leave you hanging. Probably cause they kill the show off with leaving 5 unaired episodes like this show. So please show your support for the show and buy a dvd or two. Trust me you’ll love it…
