Well on Sundays the 4400 is back for a second season with a lot more episodes than the first. Yesterday was episode 3 of season 2. The 2 hour premiere of season 2 SCORED AS THE HIGHEST-RATED CABLE SERIES PREMIERE OF THE YEAR . Which last season I think they had the same thing happen. Congrads to all of you on the usa network making us happy. The 4400 on Sunday averaged a 4.0 household rating with 5.3 million viewers tuning in, making it the highest-rated basic cable original series telecast of the year among P18-49 (2.4 rating) and P25-54 (2.9 rating).
And on Mondays Reno911 is back and funnier than ever for their third season and hopefully not the last. Each season picks up where it left off and just gets funnier. Don’t forget to tune in to Comedy Central to catch the hilarity.
On July 15th Don’t forget to tune in to the season 2 premiere of Stargate Atlantis. Atlantis returns where it left off with us hanging on our seats. Atlantis airs on the Sci-Fi network.

On September 1st of 2005 a new show called Bones will start on fox. If you were a fan of David Boreanaz from Angel you might want to tune in to see him on a new drama. Bones is based on the real-life experiences and bestselling works of novelist-forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs who solves crimes using evidence supplied by skeletal remains.
On June 21st on NBC a new show which I wont be watching, but I’ll inform you of anyway will start. It is called I want to be a Hilton. Kathy Hilton paris’s mom will star in this new reality competition. I can’t tell you much about it but she will train them to be like her family I guess. If they can spend over 100 grand in a day on cloths and crap than I guess they can be family. Frankly their whole family is weird and to let their kids spend their money shows how bad of parents they are. So it will be interesting to she how she acts on TV. A new 2005 show that will be interesting to me on CBS will be called Ghost Whisperer. Jennifer Love Hewitt returns to series television in a riveting look at the link between the living and the dead, between life and death. It is inspired by the cases of famed psychic James Van Praagh. It will air on September 23rd of 2005 on fridays.

First show that will be on the abc 05/06 season line up to watch is Invasion. From what I can gather about it is that it will be about some small Florida town that gets hit by a hurricane or something. Basically something will happen with aliens and weird things happening in the town . I will give a more detailed explanation of it later on. The next show on abc to look out for is called Night Stalker. Its about some agents that investigate some supernatural things that happen to people. In a nut shell they go around seeing weird things. Of course one show I will be watching this fall on the wb is Supernatural. Which if you want to know more about it refer to my previous post under supernatural dramas. For Fox’s new line up we have a bunch , but who knows how long they will last. Cause of fox’s history with shows nothing lasts too long. Well I already mentioned Prison break and the inside so I will tell you about some shows for fox for the 2006 season. Well there isn’t any worth mentioning. Only thing good about 2006 for fox is the returning good shows.

First off I hate almost all of them and don’t bother to watch any. I will tell you about what I do watch and know about. First I love Punk’d. I’m pretty sure it will have another season added on the the previous ones he has made. Another favorite of mine is Fire me Please which just started on CBS. Basically 2 people have till three o clock to get fired. The closest to before 3 wins a twenty five thousand. The stuff they do to get fired is too funny. The next show which just started is called 30-days. Its from the guy who was in that documentary movie called super-size me. He does stuff for 30 days or has someone do something for 30 days. In the first ep to air on FX him and his fiance will live on minimum wage for a month. Or see if they can. Its definitely something people should watch. Again another new show this year that has begun is a show on the wb called Beauty and the Geek. Its what they like to call an experiment. Its what the title says, expect they have to teach each other what they know. The only good thing about the show is the geeks cause they make it funny and worth watching. The only really other one I can comment on now is another new show for the season which is called Hell’s Kitchen. Only reason I like it is because of the way this chef treats all the wanna be chefs. This show airs on fox on Mondays. The only reason I will mention this next show is cause it shows us how dumb these two girls really are. And watching them try and I mean try to function in society is just too funny to not watch, and of course I’m talking about The simple life. It has had 3 seasons of funniness. But the next season Nicole Richie will not be in it. That’s it for now for reality shows.

The first show I will mention is Stargate Atlantis, which is the spin off of stargate sg1. Atlantis in shown on the Sci-fi channel. Its basically the lost city of Atlantis expect its in another galaxy. And what makes it better than sg1 is the aliens. The Aliens in Atlantis are like vampires who suck the life from humans from their hands. The two hour pilot is on DVD now with some bonus features. The second season will be starting soon so get ready. Another wonderful show is The 4400. It’s first season only had 5 eps, but it dot enough ratings for a second season with a lot more eps to be watched. What it boils down to is a bunch of people were taken from earth over a span of many years. And all 4400 of them returned at the same time and the same place each with special powers and a purpose. No of them have aged which makes it hard for them to live in the world of today. I don’t want to talk much more of it cause I’m telling to much about it, but its worth watching over and over again. A new show which was a hit on abc is Lost. The suspense of the show and what goes on the island is enough to keep turning in to watch it. The first season DVD will be out in September. And the second season will start this fall I assume. And Who can forget good old fox. One of the best shows on that network is 24. Its latest season just ended. And with all what happened in the previous seasons I can’t even imagine would they will do for the next season. If you haven’t seen any ep you have to buy or rent it and watch each ep one by one. If you miss one ep you screw yourself. Another show on fox that is ok and funny at times is The O.C.. basically its drama around every corner. It will be starting its third season. The first season is already out on DVD and the second will be soon. The first season just ended for a new show on fox called House m.d. .The sarcastic Dr. Has to solve mysterious illnesses that people have. It is also renewed for another season. I’m not sure what to think of this new show on fox called The Inside. Its basically some FBI agents that investigate crimes that one person keeps doing over and over. I don’t think it will last but it is interesting to watch. This fall another drama will be starting on fox called Prison Break. I like it for a couple reasons, one parts of it are filmed in my state here in Illinois. Two its interesting how this guy has this master plan to break out his brother out of this jail. The only thing I don’t like about the show is well they will have to break out of this jail than they can’t call the show prison break cause they wont be in a prison. Come on how many season will it take for them to break out and how long will people tune in. Well I’m sure there’s some other show I’m forgetting but I will post news about shows as I get them.

Well it wouldn’t be right to write about cartoons if I didn’t mention one of the longest running ones in history. And that is The Simpsons. It will be starting its 17th season. I don’t think there’s one person that doesn’t know about it so I won’t waste time talking about it. Next cartoon I’d like to talk about which is more funnier than the simpsons to me is Family Guy. The characters are just too funny. A talking drinking dog, a baby that’s a genius, and who wants to kill his mother and take over the world. Its just too good. After being canceled for so long, and after fox realizing the biggest mistake they made it finally came back for its 4th season. Fresher than ever I might add. They aren’t afraid to make fun of anything. Which brings me to the next show from the same creators on the same network which is American Dad. Basically another funny family. Only differences between the shows are instead of a talking dog they have a talking German fish who is attracted to the mother. And instead of a funny baby they have an alien, who always seems depressed, but is still funny. The only other funny cartoon that isn’t on fox is Drawn Together. Its basically a bunch of different types of cartoon characters put together in a house to live on this reality show. Which it is a reality show but a cartoon. So much of it is too vulgar to post but its worth watching. And who can forget another great cartoon South Park. Like the simpsons everyone should know about this show about these four kids growing up in Colorado. The first 5 seasons are already out on DVD and I think its in their 9th season now so watch it.

Well lets start out with what’s really funny on fox. And that would be That 70′s show. It will be starting its 8th season in a bunch of months again I will be more specific after I get the basic rundown of shows I will talk about. That 70′s show has two seasons already on DVD which is definitely worth getting. In the 7th season one of the main characters left the show, but I won’t say who cause I don’t like to ruin anything for anyone. I don’t know how his replacement will do though so maybe this next season will be the last, but the writers are so good I’m sure we can squeeze a couple more seasons. Another great funny funny show on fox is Arrested Development. It will be going into its third season, with many awards to back up its funniness. The first season is already on DVD and the second will be on DVD in November. This show reminds me of the next show I will talk about which is called Reno.911. Reno911 airs on comedy central. It just started its third season and the previously two seasons are already on DVD. Its just like cops except funnier all the time. Reno911 was originally a fox show but it sat on the shelves until the genius over at comedy central decided to buy the rights to it. And thank god for that, cause if it was up to fox it would of never saw the light of day. Another great funny show is Puppets Who Kill. It is in its third or 4th season I haven’t kept up on it. Basically its a bunch of criminal puppets that have to live in a halfway house with a human. It is really funny. Another puppet show everyone should watch is called Crank Yankers. Its a town filled with puppets who make crank calls to real people, and they use puppets as a visual to make it even funnier. They basically re-enact the calls with puppets. I’m sure there’s some other shows I’m forgetting but I will update later.

Ok we have a lot to catch up on. First I will start with supernatural drama’s. Ok the NBC show Medium just ended with a sort of cliff hanger, but we can all guess what’s going to happen. In the second season I would like to see a story which explains why her kids and her have special gifts, and I’d like one ep without her having a dream. The writers need to be more creative, but it gets enough ratings for a second season so good for you guys. Well my two favorite supernatural shows were canceled which were on fox. Tru calling which they started filming a second season but fox decided against showing it. Than they decided the ratings were high enough in New Zealand were they were showing the second season that they would bring it back here. Well they did but never showed the last ep made. But no fears the second season DVD of tru calling will be released on August 2nd I think. My second favorite supernatural drama on fox was Point Pleasant. It did have a good plot, but fox and the ratings didn’t care to give it a chance. Basically the character Chistina was the daughter of Satan and the daughter of like and angel or something. She had special powers that allowed her to control things and people, which would lead to some battle which everyone would die or something in this real town called point pleasant, which is where the mothman prohices was about well parts of it anyway. No word on a DVD for that show cause there are unaired eps left to be watched. There was another show I liked which was called Miracles. It was canceled, but is now on DVD as of April 19th. It was basically about a team of people that were investigating miracles. Another good show was Revelations. It was just a small series on NBC. Which by the title you should know what it is about. If you don’t know its end of the world type scenario. It will be on DVD in June. I will have to update exact dates later since there’s so much to talk about. Ok the next show which won’t be on TV till fall is a new show called Supernatural. It will be on the WB and I’m not sure what time and date yet but again I will post news later on. It is about two brothers that hunt down ghosts and spirits, cause of what happened to their mother when they were children. Their dad made it a mission to find what killed their mother and they were trained. So both of them are seeking out to destroy evil. I definitely think it will do good. Well not that I watch this show on the wb called Charmed, but it is funny I guess and occupies the time. Well on to the last supernatural show that isn’t here in the u.s.. It is a show called Hex. Which is a UK show. It will be on DVD in October which I’m sure u can get at amazon.com. The first season only had 5 eps, but they were well done. I don’t want to ruin it but basically this girl has powers that can go good or bad and she’s fighting some types of demons. O and her best friend is a ghost now. I can’t explain much about it without ruining it so get it and wait for the 2nd season to start.
