Bones (Fox, Premieres September 1st, 2005)

Thursday, June 23rd, 2005

From executive producers Barry Josephson (“Hide and Seek,” “Like Mike”) and Hart Hanson (“Joan of Arcadia,” “Judging Amy”) comes the darkly amusing drama BONES, inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Forensic anthropologist DR. TEMPERANCE BRENNAN (Emily Deschanel, “Boogeyman”), who works at the Jeffersonian Institution and writes novels as a sideline, has an uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim’s bones. Consequently, law enforcement calls her in to assist with murder investigations when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless. Brennan’s equally brilliant colleagues at the Jeffersonian’s Medico-Legal Lab include earthy and bawdy ANGELA MONTENEGRO (Michaela Conlin, “The D.A.”), who’s created a unique way to render an original crime scene in a three-dimensional computer image; Brennan’s assistant, ZACK ADDY (Eric Millegan), a young prodigy whose genius IQ actually gets in the way of his finishing the several doctorates he has begun; “the bug guy,” DR. JACK HODGINS (TJ Thyne, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”), who’s an expert on insects, spores and minerals, but conspiracy is his hobby; and Brennan’s boss, imposing lab director DR. DANIEL GOODMAN (Jonathan Adams, “American Dreams”). Brennan often finds herself teamed with Special Agent SEELEY BOOTH (David Boreanaz, “Angel”), a former Army sniper who mistrusts science and scientists when it comes to solving crimes. Brennan and Booth clash both professionally and personally, but so far the chemistry between them has only played out in a fictionalized account in Brennan’s latest mystery novel. Posted by Hello

Reunion (Fox,Premieres September 1st 2005)

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005

Reunion is about 6 kids and their story will start in 1986 and end in 2006 for their 20th reunion. The show starts off when they graduate high school. For a first episode there’s enough drama to last a season. Every episode is a year. The first ep starts out in 1986, with glimpses of the future in 2005. Everyone is going in their own directions, but they all stay connected to each other by means of drama. I didn’t think I would like this show, cause the basis of it seemed weird. But after seeing it I became interested with what will happen. Each season of the potential series is designed to follow a different group of high school friends through the following 20 years of their lives, meaning a new cast and new location for the show each year. That is if ratings do well enough for a second season. And who could forget the wonderful sounds of the 80′s. They definitely play all the classic music from that era. So look for the series premiere in September.Posted by Hello

Canceled show update

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005

Well it seems the only place that got permission to show the remaining unaired episodes of Point Pleasant is TV3 Sweden. I would hate to go into detail about the eps and spoil it for you. But if fox doesn’t decide to come out with the dvd I will tell you what happens in the remaining episodes. I just hate when networks cancel a show and leave you hanging when you know there’s more eps left to watch.

Tv goes to the Movies

Monday, June 20th, 2005

Well If you haven’t heard The Simpsons are going to be in the theaters sometimes in 2007. They are what they say in preproduction. They always wanted to do a movie but after the show was over. But since they get over 10 million viewers an episode the show keeps going on and the movie is being made. There isn’t much details about the movie. But when there is you can be sure I will post it here.
Also if you were a fan of the tv show Firefly that was on fox. The movie is about ready to be seen. Firefly was canceled without showing the remaining unaired eps. But thanks to dvds everyone got to see what happened. The only thing about the show some things were left unanswered about the plot. Hopefully this movie will finish the story out or continue it for another movie. But back to tv for a second. The Show firefly has been picked up by the Sci-fi network and will be showing all the episodes. The show should start airing on the new network on July 22nd of this year. But no news on another season, but you can be sure I will tell you about it. Anyways the Firefly movie is called Serenity and will be in theaters sometime before September 30th I hope
