In retrospect – Ryan Dunn

I loved watching the “Jackass” TV show, movies, “Viva La Bam”, “Bam’s Unholy Union”, and all their movies. Critics can say whatever they want, but they can’t take away from what this band of brothers did to us all. Ya they were the people you wouldn’t want to live next door to due to constant fear of damage done to your property, but you have to admit everything they did you at least had a smirk. Ya dunn was drunk driving, and shouldn’t of been, but to go the speed he was going no Drunk would every attempt that due to getting arrested. Ya driving drunk your ability is impaired, but to go his speed he was well aware, and loving it. He loved Driving, and driving fast. It’s sad, but no one has the right to bad mouth the guy, when the one mistake he made he paid for it, and doesn’t get a chance to take it back.
Must Have DVD

This show could of done way better under certain circumstances. Like maybe a better network. Just so everyone knows ratings lie. Now a days people are downloading the episodes from torrent sites. Funny thing is the most popular downloads are the canceled ones. So Lets think about this. Why would someone download a TV show. Well one the network website takes it time, and the viewer doesn’t want to hear about it from co-workers the next day. Two They don’t have a DVR or TiVo, nor have the money to waste when they work so hard, and only really watch a couple shows a week. Three people don’t want to pay for what was free to begin with, and the network failed to accommodate the working man. In this day in time it’s a constant struggle, and most people tune out cause they don’t trust the network. No wonder why people download. Anyways “The Event” would of been a great show, but do to improper marketing, and such it’s gone, but you can still own a piece of failed network history on Aug 23rd.
Paranormal Shows

Seems like the past two years have been a hot bed of paranormal TV shows. I love SyFy’s “Ghost Hunters” , and “Ghost Hunters International”. The Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures”, and A&E’s “Paranormal State”. I wasn’t a fan of Discovery’s “Ghost Lab” at all. Also I do miss A&E’s “Paranormal Cops” only because I’m from Chicago. Anyways what do you all think about the trend of paranormal shows. There are two new shows to watch now. We have Travel channel’s ” Paranormal Challenge” which takes two teams of three paranormal investigators, and puts them into known haunted places to compete for the best team. The show is also hosted by Zak of “Ghost Adventures”. We also now have “Haunted Collector” which airs on SyFy featuring a family hobby with friends that help people deal with their situation that may be the result of a haunted object. Do you think there are more of these shows coming or has the paranormal reality had its finally run?
Falling Skies

So what does everyone think about this new show on TNT. The second episode will air today, and we will see if the record breaking #’s hold up the second week. My opinion is not to trust networks anymore. I don’t want to fall in love when the production has them set up to fail. Take a look at “V”. They didn’t plan on what is was going to be, and limited the number of episodes made. By the time it came back no one cared. My Fear is that will be the same fate for AMC’s ” The Walking Dead” even though I really Hope it isn’t.
USA’s White Collar Season 2 Review
July 12, 2010 at 7:52 pm , by TeVeGuy
How to start with happened last season. How can the new season begin you ask with what happened last season. All I will answer without giving you a spoiler. Most People HATE flashbacks to the history of a show we already know, and love. Well the new Season starts with that, BUT with stories we don’t know about. For that reason it keeps me going. It is a flashback episode, but the storyline you don’t know. Most shows that pull this flashback story normally wait at the least for a third season. Again at least they show you new footage you never knew about. I love the idea of an episode of a look back to a story you never knew. Then to throw you more into it they keep bring you back to the future like nothing just happened. They just throw you back into the new story like nothing ever happened which I love. You just have to love a show that can blend Comedy/Drama into a whole new degree. The new Season airs on July 13th 9/8 C.
Don’t Forget about “V”

With such a dramatic anticipated beginning to a remake of a classic then to be taken away so fast to leave us hanging most of us have forgot. Don’t worry too much. The original producers aren’t there which caused the limited season 1 premier after four episodes. Well good news is John Wirth & Natalie Chaidez are now on board. I woudln’t give up on this show just yet. Episode 5 should air on 3/30 if everything goes well which I don’t see being a problem with the new producers backgrounds.
New Movie New Show

First and foremost sorry for the lack of recent posst especially with so much going on in the TV world. Anyways back to business. As we all might have heard according to the Mayan Calender the world will end in 2012. There is a new movie besides the books, and the cults surrounding this theory. Anyways Entertainment Weekly has told me that there is a plan for a TV about this. In a nutshell the premise is the aftermath which will be 2013, and what happens after the disaster. Currently there is talks with ABC, but like I have faith in that network as much as I do in FOX. Besides my opinion is would be great for the network after lost finishes it series (Just an Idea).

USA’s “White Collar” Review

USA NETWORK’s White Collar – Spotting A Fake (promo)
Uploaded by USANetwork. – Classic TV and last night’s shows, online.
Most shows that stick out that do well have great lead characters. You have House, Bones, Mentalist which all have strong lead characters you love to watch. Matt Bomer is the new comer to be added to the list in my opinion. You just have to love a Con Artist that isn’t so arrogant about himself, but yet does the right thing with his talents. Basically without giving anything away our lead was in jail, and makes a deal with the FBI with restrictions in order to be free. Being a Con Artist you have to be very smart, sly, just, and cool. You absolutely have to love his attitude about life, and his surroundings. It’s again a drama with comedy which does well now a days, but doesn’t kill the show or take away from the stories. White Collar will premier on USA on October 23rd. It’s a show worth watching, and or recording.
TV Reminder CW’s “Vampire Diaries”
September 9, 2009 at 6:27 pm , by TeVeGuy
Please don’t forget CW’s “Vampire Diaries” premieres tomorrow. It’s a shame this vampire empire now came to late for shows like “Moonlight”. Still I love that networks are making shows about vampires. I’m hoping this show will not just be a teenager show on the CW, but can compare or be better than Buffy, or Angel. My only worry is that they make this too much about relationships, and copy the “Twilight series of books/movies. Don’t Also forget the New Season of Supernatural starts as well. I hope this season gets more ratings than ever before to keep the show going past the Armageddon story.
FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” Post Review
September 9, 2009 at 6:06 pm , by TeVeGuy
I don’t want to review to much for those who haven’t still seen the show. Season one left off with a couple lingering stories. A member in jail because of the FBI, and the murder of a members wife by the game which was a mistake. What I like about this show besides the hardness about a motorcycle game the emotions behind everything really make the show worth while. Of course they open a new story which I assume will play out throughout the season. Overall it’s a great start to the second season.
